Design for every seat

Plan the room in zones. Ensure clear views for everyone: raise screens, angle the stage, add side screens, and keep cameras or tall décor out of the way. 

Fix what’s hidden and add simple pull-ins (roaming cameras, giveaways, balcony shout-outs) so every corner of the room gets attention.

Start big, then scale back to your budget

Brainstorm without limits, then shape the idea to the time and money you have.

Share your budget early (e.g., “We have $25K: What’s the best we can do with this?”) so partners can optimize rather than guess. Ask for practical and creative ways to save money (shipping, gear choices, etc.) and use the savings to hire an A-level crew.

Plan and rehearse like pros

Lock the plan early and rehearse thoroughly. Set content/graphics/cue deadlines, appoint a show caller, and run cue-to-cue with a back-row check. Add buffers and backups so last-minute tweaks don’t drain your crew.
